Palos Verdes 1.9 Earthquake

On Thursday April 30 at 5:18pm there was a 1.9 earthquake on Palos Verdes Road right on the edge of the beautiful pacific ocean. Curiously, about 1/2 mile to the south of the epicenter is an area called Portugese Bend. Nice imagery, isn't it? Anyway, Portugese Bend is falling into the ocean. It is a landslide area and when you drive on the road they have signs saying the road is subject to movement. Perhaps next time the quake will be higher and there will be some real movement.

April 26 at 5:38 am local time

There was a 2.6 earthquake centered right here at the Offramp of the 60 Freeway on Archibald Street in Ontario.
I once heard a guy tell me he pulled off the 880 freeway in San Francisco to get a pack of smokes. He was standing in the liquor store opening up his cigarettes when the 1989 quake hit and the 880 pancaked. He said he would have been dead. I pointed out the cigarettes are still going to kill him. But it won't make the news.

In Van Nuys (a suburb of Los Angeles) there was a 1.6 earthquake.

It was centered under this guy's place.

Did he feel it?
